I suffer from fallen arches related to flat feet. I get extremely painful cramps in the arches of both feet regularly. It is particularly a problem when surfing, as I often experience the cramps whilst in the water. It is almost impossible to stay on my board and paddle in. I have to curl up in a ball for some time till the cramps subside, then paddle in. The only relief I get is putting on shoes with moulded orthotics in them. How can I remedy the situation? I.E.: to be able to walk along the beach barefoot; to go surfing for a few hours at a time; sleep at night without getting cramps. Is the condition operable?
