I believe that my mother has some form of sporadic late-onset cerebellar degeneration.....Her doctor was very unhelpful and was extremely rude to her saying that as she was russian...Perhaps she was drinking too much....This has put her off going back to the doctor and I want to help her and support her but dont know what to do next. She was diagnosed with friedrichs ataxia in the us but this has been unconfirmed in the uk. What should she do next????She is currently based near brighton but spends most weekends in bristol.

Thanks

alisa

Extremely eHealthy
I honestly know nothing of the mentioned illness, but I am responding anyway. Try to convince her to go to a different doctor! One who will not patronize her. It is very important that she not let it go. Good luck talking her into it. Just try to assure her that not every doctor is mean and ignorant.
