i am a 19 year old male who had sufferd
from a head injury in september of 05.
i was in the hospital but released after 1
day and my test came up alright.
since then i been getting alot of sharp
pains in my body that feel like shocks and
in my head as well when i concentrate on
something or when im trying to fall asleep
i get a dizzy feeling/nausea feeling or
just a shock in the head.
i also have very little power in both of
my forearms and sometimesm y feet.
and have terrible neck pain between the
top neck an dbrain stem?
sometimes out of the blue i just wanna
flip out and go crazy and some times i
find my self acting weird or crying.
i have a appointment (neurologist) in 3
months because they are so backed up i
reall would like some of your input so i
can get a idea of what could be the
problem.
It seems that you are suffering from some
kind of post-commotional and/or
post-traumatic syndrome. You can
immediately be examined by a neurologist
and a psychiatrist. A few imaging
procedures can to be taken of your head
and neck(CT-scan, MRI, X-ray). Further
examinations will help you find out if
your symptoms are caused by physical or
psychic consequences from the head injury.
