Q: Wife Material!

I have been searching for true love and a woman for life. This is the most tedious task to carry out.

Why is it so difficult to get a wife material?

What exactly is 'wife material'? Thats a pretty offensive way to look at females, saying we aren't good enough for you...Have you ever considered that maybe you just aren't "husband material", and thats why you can't find anyone? Keep up that attitude and you'll never find anyone

Wife 'material'
Dear, I never meant 'material' to insult. Material here means a woman who has got the qualities that compliments mine. Principally she shld be sensitive and intelligent among other attributes. I have a good bill of attitude so there is no cause for alarm.

I just thought perhaps environment also determines the qualities one gets. What do you think?

Lol okay, just you're first statement came off the wrong way to people..But I get what you mean now. Um...I don't know how to give you advice about how to meet people...Go to places of interest to you...Lol, like I met my fiancee at a dog show...Lol I just love dogs and he was showing great danes there...I figured guys who showed dogs were gay,(not that theres anything wrong with gay people)..But he obviously isn't lol.. .Just goes to show you can meet someone anywhere...Just give it time...Be open to all kinds of people, don't let looks or preconceptions get in the way
good luck
ps; how old are you, whats the rush for marriage?

Age!!!!!
Is 27 too young to think of getting a fiancee and prepare 4 marriage? Don't think so. Do you?

I'd take yr advice. Thanks; even though my job gets in the way too often and I hardly hang out... Will try to.

I know this will sound funny but stop looking so hard.......

I met my husband when I wasnt expecting it and I went out with him I didnt love him at first but I loved talking to him anyways it worked were married and thats it...... Becarful when saying material its almost like telling a woman she beneath a man not a good thing here I know what you mean but you should say looking for a woman to share life with.

I find when you want something so bad it usually doesnt happen but when ur laid back and relaxed it pops up right in your face like a miracle hope you find the right woman

Don't Miss the Forrest For the Trees
I am 24 years old and I am on my second marriage. I do not think 27 is a poor time to find your mate. But I know what it is to make wrong choices at a young age too. My current husband was a cook at the restaraunt my best friend bartended at. She used to tell me the cook had a crush on me and when she pointed him out to me from across the room he did the eye brow thing  and looked at me like he was sizing me up! I told her she should be protecting me from guys like that! I saw him there at the bar often and blew him off and didn't take him seriosly. Then I started working there and got to know him really well. I found out we had a lot more in common then I realized. He was the nice guy I had always been looking for and while I was wasting so much time with guys that were good actors but really wanted the superficial things. Meanwhile there was this sweet heart that never gave up and it took me almost a year to give him a chance. He's the best in husband material there is. Attentive, always brings me flower's just b/c, a good father. I'm just saying sometimes your looking so hard for what you want you look past it.
