Colon Cancer Answer A148
I think that in your case it is more important to examine the colon polyps than performing a colon cleanse. Colon cancer usually develops from polyps in the colon. Polyps are benign at first but then they can become malignant (turn into a cancer). In your case there is higher risk for malignant transformation because your mother and uncles died from colon cancer. All the polyps must be removed via endoscopyc intervention and analyzed by a pathologist.
