I was in town today and talking to this teen I know with a baby and her mother comes along and starts talking too us and shes like "with that sweater on you can't even tell your pregnant" and I was like "i know, thats why I wear it" and shes like "you know by doing that you are already telling your baby that you don't want it." that made me feel bad, of course I want my baby. How can she judge that just because I don't want to show off my belly? Sad for one I don't want weird people coming up to me and randomly touching my belly just because i'm pregnant.. And my town is horrible because everyone is so judgemental.. I will not hide my baby after it is born but until then its none of anyones business really.. If anyone else believes what this woman says is true please say so and explain your reasoning.. Thanks bye

Forget it & her!! Some people just have to be nasty.Rude whatever others say things because they're jealous & others because they must have an opinion on everything & they must tell anyone regardless & they are always right regardless. These people you have to learn to ignore (or at least ignore the hurt if it's someone you want/need in your or your baby's life).

Every woman is unique, some show off their pregnant bellies in an almost naked way others like you prefer to cover up (& isn't it winter there so what does she want you to wear, a bikini - which wouldn't be so bad here in australia as it's summer!!) & all the in betweens.

You will find that there is always someone (even strangers) ready to tell you what you should & should not do & what you did wrong, rarely do they think you got it right!!!! Now i'm telling you this & I was 29 when I got married 33 when I had my dtr & almost 40 when I had my son. I worked as a child welfare officer, later as a parole officer & I had travelled widely & worked overseas, so it's got nothing to do with being a teen - it's just that some people have to put you down no matter what.
My dtr is 15 (16 in may) & I still get comments about if I had breast fed & if I had stayed home to raise her then........... Would be different!!). You can not stop these people so just decide what feels right for you & your child & (while keeping an open mind for good advice & asking for help when you need it) stickto what you believe to be right.

Good luck
