My sister was bitten by something in
october on the eye, she doctored for it
with her medical doctor and then an eye
specialist. They gave her steroids to try
and heal it up then she developed strep
throat and then a pneumonia they thought
was called boop and now the autopsy says
it was chlymadia pneumonia and the doctor
said the antibiotics should of taken care
of it they are still waiting on the rest
of the results. She meanwhile got ards
(acute respiratory distress syndrome) and
she died on christmas eve. She was only
42 years old and she was healthy
otherwise. The doctor was distraught as
was our family. My question is could the
bite of had something to do with it? The
nurses at the hospita said they couldn't
get it out of their mind that it has some
type of effect on it and then my friend's
mom had a brother who died of some type of
bite ot the eye and it went into pneumonia
and then he died too. I was just looking
for some other people's viewpoint on this.
Thanks.
