I took my son on a plane at 3 mos old, and my doctor suggested drinking a bottle or sucking on a binky at take off and landing to ease the pressure in the ears. Also, he said to ease the crying (for the other passengers sake) give the baby 1/4 teaspoon of benedril. I would ask your doctor about the benedril part before giving it to your baby to make sure you are giving the right dosage, but that is what my doctor told me. Hope that helps...
