Q: Makeup and acne ?

When I perform on stage, I cover up my pimples. Yeah, it makes me feel good about myself.

Not that i'd do it all the time, but out of curiousity, how bad is that stuff for the skin? I know that it clogs the pores, but does it increase the spread of acne?

Its fine for the skin as long as you wash it off at night, and are using an oil-free make-up/coverup. Smile

I hated having to wear that stuff when I was in plays. Its not typical your typical covergirl makeup (if you are using stage makeup.) I was mostly inaffected by it, just as long as you wash it off at night and don't share application tools with other people. Sharing sponges and what not can cause staph infections. That's what I gathered from my experience-good luck-
