Hi I am new to this and just trying to see how it all works. I am 24 and have been treated for asthma since age 20. The problem is I don't respond to any meds and my doc thinks maybe I don't have asthma. I just always feel like I can't breathe deep or it is not satisfying. Also I yawn a lot. I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis this week so this is interfering but the last 3 weeks the breathing has become unbearable. I have been unde a lot of stress lately ( moving, getting ready for vaca, and going into my 2nd to last semester of college) any advice/info?

Me Too!
I have been having trouble getting a yawn out also. I try to get a deep breath or yawn and cant. But if I do get one out its relief for a few minutes then it happens again.I done this once before and I was pregnant, I think I am pregnant again and am wondering if this is a coincident from my last pregnancy or if its something I do when I am pregnant. I may have pregnant symptoms because of stress lately and that is related to my breathing problems also~ I dont know...We'll see! Did yours ever get easier, I see you posted this last year!

Relief For Trouble Breathing
Last year I had trouble taking a deep breath for about five months. Maybe one out of every 15 breaths was successful. I finally went to a knowledgeable massage therapist who released my intercostals (the muscles between the ribs.) for some reason they had become restricted and weren't allowing my lungs and diaphragm to expand properly. It was almost immediate relief, and I haven't had a problem since. Not every massage therapist knows how to do this, though; you have to ask around.
