Most of these girls who abort children don't know god. They were not raised in a christian home, nor they received a christian education. Most of them for sure did not had parents who watched them neither. If this is the case how they learn then? Through mistakes. When they have an unintended pregnancy, when they get an std, when their bf leaves them etc. Therefore sunshine we can't judge them.
I have to say that I admire you for not giving up on your child when you got pregnant. You chose to take the narrow road and that is admirable. For so many years I saw my friends and so many others taking the wide road and I questioned jesus why do I have to be good when everybody seems to not care? But jesus didn't told us to follow them sunshine, he told us to follow .H.I.M. Hope you always have faith in .Him

We have freedom of religion.. I am not christian, but both of my parents raised me well. I never saw the inside of a daycare facility. I went to preschool 3 hours a day, and that is it. My mother is a nurse, my dad a professor in college pt... My parents worked their schedules to make sure that they raised us, and not some strangers. I don't think abortion is ok because my parents did not raise me, I think abortion is okay because what I do inside of my body is my business.

Nightangel, you are just further proof of the small-mindedness that christianity breeds. Look around the world; look outside your window for real. Stop viewing the world through the sinful lens of christianity; and see the people of the world and their choices as part of the wonder of being human.
Just because you believe that christianity is right absolutely does not mean that it is. I can believe that the grass is orange all I want; but it is still green. You, my friend, believe the grass is orange. The world is not always perfect; and "imperfect" desicions do not make us lesser beings; they are expereinces we grow from.
Do you believe everything you see in the news; do you take to heart every single word you read, every single word a person in power says? Of course you don't. So why do you believe every word in the bible? It was written by humans, not god. Even if he was dictating what he wanted written, that doesn't necessarily mean it was written correctly.
Even our constitution is "interpereted", and not taken literally. Do not believe what they tell you! Explore the more of the world as I have, and see truth with your own eyes!

i do not have any doubt that your parents did raised you well. Raising a child well has nothing to do with raising a child with religion. I went to church since birth. The church was a walking distance to my house. Growing up I went to a private protestant school and I was always member of the youth groups at church, went to numerous retreats and then in college joined I praying circles groups and so on. As you can see that's a lot of christian education and it made me whom I am now :)

eiri I don't understand well what you mean about seeing the world for real and see the people of the world and their choices as a wonder of being human. Let me tell you what I have seeing eiri. I saw my brother with a bright future an engineer graduated with honors getting into being homosexual and making the choice of using drugs, real bad ones and then see him laying in a bed at a comma waiting for certain death at the age of 33. I'm going to be 33 in a few months and it makes me want to cry to think this is all that my brother lived. Unfortunatelty he did not had a second chance. I don't think of him as a lesser being, not of him and not anyone else. I believe we do are all the same.
Regarding the bible well that is the word of god. And you are right it was written by humans but with t he big difference is that it was inspired by the holy spirit. The bible is not a book that it is meant to be interpretated by the exact words. To understand the messages you need to have knowlede of the life at the time, the culture at the time and all that. The amazing thing of the bible I personally find is how it covers everything. Any doubt that I could possibly have regarding anything in life the answer is right there. It is impressive to me. See eiri in science 1 1 1 =3 but in the christian religion 1 1 1=1. I think we the christians are then the ones who are more open minded.
I am a person of faith eiri and if you look at the definiton of the word faith it is about believing in what you can't see or prove. All I can only tell you is that I love the .Lord and that .He fullfills my life. And nothing is this world can replace this fullfillment for me. :)

There are many religions, and people of many different faiths. I happen to believe in buddhist teachings, and it has helped me to be a more open minded and patient woman. Buddhists have respect for all beliefs and cultures. It is different from believeing in a "god" , but we do believe people will recieve punishment from evil doing. Aka karma.. What goes around comes around.. A simplified way of saying it, but still very true. Regardless of religion, being raised in a loving home is most important.

you homophobe!! You edit homophobe! I know a lot of homosexuals who are not into drugs, and who are not dying. Go shove yourself in a hole, edit. You are a despicable excuse for a person. It is people like you who come over to my group of friends and tell them they are going to hell just because they're in love, because they're gay. God doesn't give a edit about your gender preference in love.

i love what I believe to be some kind of force up there too. I call him god because i'm used to calling it that, but maybe it doesn't have a name. I feel peace when talking to it, even if i'm just talking to myself. Faith in something is very strong, but unfortunatly it's hard to change a belief, and far easier to change a thought. You can learn new things that change your thoughts and the facts of things. Changing a belief is far harder because you're asking people to stop believing in something they've had to put so much blind faith into. When you blindly believe in something, the last thing you want is to be disproven. People kill over beliefs.

yes carifairy and god is all about love. There is no biggest love than that of whom gives his life for their friends. And this is what jesus did. As a christian I respect all believes and religions except the islam one from the al queda I admit. All religions are cut the same. Do good and not evil.

you dear, could not see truth if it bit you in the edit. You just sit back and discredit any religion that is of topic and bash .Jesus. You call people who respect religion "bible thumpers" or whatever you have it on the given day. You continue to disrespect religion. i don't believe that these woman who abort do not know .God. Catholics abort everyday along with people of all religion. I reference .God sometimes when talking of abortion but I do not oppose abortion because i'm .Catholic. I oppose it because I feel killing another human being is disgusting and wrong. It's not even about religion. Just like abortion is not about a stupid "woman's right".
Maybe I should not judge them, but I do. Maybe that's right, maybe it is wrong. I never claimed to be perfect or not to sin. It's how I feel. I obviously don't hide my feelings regarding abortion. And yes, I do judge these skanks who kill their babies. I have a right to, whether it's right or wrong. I will take that "wrong" over the wrong of killing another human being.
I will always have faith in .God. I love .God and he is the reason I am here, along with everyone else. My love only grows stronger. He brought my son to me and for that among many other things, i'm forever grateful, and loving.

Even if I were truly a homophobe why do you judge me? If you respect people that have abortions then you should respect homophobic people too. Homophobes are human beings too that make mistakes just like everyone else.
But let me tell you a word about gays for the record. There is good gays and there is bad gays. I never had a problem with my brother being gay, I never told him he was going to hell or anything like that. You have a very wrong idea about christians judging homosexuals. I am catholic and the church I go has a ministry for gays. Made by gays/lesbians and for gays/lesbians. True christians do not reject homosexuals, or abortionits etc. Christians are not perfect people neither. I am sorry that you think so bad about christians.

i continue to disrespect religion? All religion? Oh no, wait... You meant just your religion. Sorry darling, but I still feel extremely strong relations to christianity, and I really wish people would stop ruining it. Jesus wants his religion back; the one where people didn't go around telling gays that they were going to hell, the one where people actually practiced real compassion. I've been to a christian youth camp, i'm been to a christian program called aquire the fire, and I attended church in my youth. Trust me, I have met a lot of really wondeful christians. My mother is one, and she is pro-life through expereince but guess what? We still get along just fine. I sound like i'm repeating myself, but that's because I have to re-state on about three different topics my feelings on true acceptance.
I defined "bible-thumper" elsewhere. Go look for it. I only ever mention god after someone else has already started it.
And for the last freaking time, I have never bashed jesus! I continually say he was a brilliant man, just not the savior. I love many of the things he taught. He died on a cross, and the way he was treated was atrocious. The .Passion of the .Christ made me cry as an outrage to human dignity. How any human can treat another human like that horrifies me. ((a zef is not human the way jesus or you or me is human... We are born!))

and why was mentioning the fact that he was homosexual necessary? It really brings out the fact to me that his coming out of the closet deeply traumatized her morally. Because she believes it is evil. ((note that I respond to these one at a time, and I have not read her reply to this post yet.))

hey, she's the one who made it appear as such. I found it completely unnecessary to mention his sexual preference in her list of things that he did that she is now sad about him for doing.

because I don't respect people who don't respect others. I'm not christian, and I believe people should be judged for things such as hating other humans for being in love.

i go off of expereince. Even my mother, god bless her, is slightly homphobic. She really isn't comfortable with them at all, and really sorta doesn't want them getting married. She called .R.E.N.T the "musical with the gay people and .A.I.D.S in it.

i'm glad your church is open. I know that the official catholic church excommunicates all gays upon notification of their sexual orientation.
I only think bad about the ones that come and tell my friends they're going to hell. I know a lot of christians who are accepting no matter what, but they are far from devoted members of the church. I once went to a baptist youth meeting, and had to sit through an anti-gay propaganda video. I couldn't leave, I was only in ninth grade and those people would have flayed me (probably not, but in ninth grade, all girls care about is "being cool", and those losers were the only friends I had at the time. I'm glad i'm much braver and smarter now.)

very true. My brother said the same and I remember he telling about how he had to be careful because there were gays that just wanted him to have sex and that's it and then dump him. Just exactly like hetero men use women for sex and then dump them.

ah, you're right, that's true... But it's not being straight that makes them bad, and it's not being gay that makes them bad. It's being horny in bad ways that makes them... Bad!! Lol.
