I play a lot of sports and have trouble somedays drinking enough... I know that yellow pee is a sign that you're dehydrated, but does the tip of anyone's penis burn when it is yellow... When my pee is not yellow, it doesn't burn, only when it a rather gross bright yellow... Does this happen to anyone else, or should I get professional help on this?

Yellow urine isn't really a sign that you're dehydrated, as much as it is that you're not drinking enough water. Just drinking water (6-8 glasses a day) instead of pop (and the like) should almost completely solve you're problem. This will flush out your kidneys, and you're urine will then be almost, if not completely clear. Sugar in foods also cause your urine to turn yellow.

I don't think it's the amount of water I drink... I'll drink the same amount of water in a given day, but if I have been playing an a hockey tournament like I have been recently, then it is yellow... But it's still that slight burning sensation that has piqued my curiosity when my pee is really yellow...

Deeper (but not darker)/brighter yellow urine is a sign that you have been sweating a lot (ie: hockey), and that you're not getting enough water.

Ok yea... Like I have been saying I know that but I need to know if anyone else gets a burning sensation right at the end of the penis, just inside of the urethra when their pee is really yellow

Sorry, forgot that you asked that when I replied.

The burning sensation is just further proof that you're not drinking enough water. The problem is, the concentration of water compared to the other liquids being excreted isn't high enough (not enough water). Because of this, your urine is more acidic than it would normally be, thus causing a burning sensation when you urinate.
