I 6 months ago was diagnosed with schizophrenia, I don't believe they are correct. I stopped the meds (geodon), simply because I feel some one like me sould not be nuts. Am I wrong? My husband tells me that he is afraid that someday I will snap. He says I am almost two different people sometimes, he is starting to scare me I dont feel crazy well sometimes but dont we all? Any advice anyone?

Hi,
i hope ur right, however, sometimes wen u have schiophrenia u have a distorted vision of things and others can see things that u may not( I dont mean hallucinations). But u'v got to remember that these doctors have studied this for years and dont make these diagnoses' without reason. Although on a positive note there are tens of thousands of people with schizophrenia and other illnesses, leading normal happy lives.
Stay positive and listen to what others have to say.
Best wishes
