Hello everyone,
I am new the this site, I have alot of issues and would like a doctors opinion. Let me explain...... I got my period on the 5th november and it lasted until the 17th november, then I got it back on the 24th december and it finished on the 31st december and now on the 10th january I am getting it again!!!!! Well when I saw I was still bleeding in november for too long I stopped usin the contraceptive la femina. I have not used any until now. But I did went to see the doctor this morning and she told me that the walls surrounding my womd is damageing and that I need a clean out .

The procedure only takes about 10 to 15 minutes . She said many women have done it , and after your hormomes are back to normal.

I am only 20 and married for 2 yrs. And would like to get pregnant sometime in life, and don't want any complications.
All I want to know is if this cleaning out thing is safe since I have not heard of this before. The doctor said that if I don't do this clean out then it might take me years for my hormones to get to normalcy inorder to get pregnant.

I would appreciate and comments and medical advice given .

Extremely eHealthy
I am a nurse. What she is talking about is a d&c, and it is commonly done when there are problems such as yours. It will help stop the bleeding, and they can send the tissue to a lab to see if any type of problem exists. It is a very routine surgery, and many women have them. It should not affect your furture fertility.
