Tanning Bed Insurance Coverage...anybody Know?? Posted: 01-09-06 23:45pm
I have a pretty severe case of psoriasis,
all over my body. I'm interested in
getting a uv bed (tanning bed) for my home
and can't seem to find any information
about whether my insurance agency will
cover it. Anyone have any idea what i'll
have to go through for this? I'm sure I
need to get my specialist to write or call
them, just curious if anyone has gone
through this or knows anything about it.

I think a doctor would have to write out a
perscription for the tanning bed, then
your insurence would concider covering it!
Its like old people getting there a/c
paid by insurance!
