I am a 24 year old male with chronic pain a little over a year. I have a loving wife and two beautiful kids. I had a fall from about ten feet and ever since I have developed terrible pain in legs. My feet feel like I am walking on rocks. I have thigh and groin pain in morning. The pain in thighs and groin sometimes diminishes a couple minutes after walking around other days it is there all day.I have muscle twitches all over my body and I am cold all the time. I wear long underwear, sweatshirt, and coat at work and people around me are in t-shirts. I was an active person and my family is my life. I can't live not being able to play with my kids. Please help i'm begging you

i am taking lyrica and tramedol
i have had mri's, bone scans, cat scans, 3 emg, and a mylogram and a pile of medical bills!

I have several bulging discs at t-12, l-4, and stenosis from c-2 to c-5. That is all they have found as of now.

I just had cervical spine surgery two weeks ago. The pain in my legs was so bad I could not stand it. Like you about 5 years ago I fell off a deck backwards and landed on my head and shoulders. The c-5-6-7 herniated disc had caused the pain in my legs the disc had flattened the left part of my spinal cord. I had the surgery and I still am struggling with the pain from the surgery but the pains in my legs are gone. Thank god I didn't think I could take much more. The surgeon told me paralasis had already started to set in

I had terrible pain in my legs before my back surgery. My leg pain was unbearable. The disc was bulged pinching my sciatic nerve. The pain is mostly gone, I could hardly walk before hand without a cane. I am jogging now a bit...There is hope...Hold out.

The strange thing I noticed was how much I bonded with my two children not being able to move...They snuggled in stead. It killed me not to be able to run with them, but it was the opposite for them. They need to just "be" with us not always doing something, but more listening.

When we find ourselves in situations god will use them to help us grow in the direction he intends...There is so much to life, you have to look into all the aspects the pain may be blinding you to. I know I didn't think I could live with the pain.

I tried to end my life, I was also suffering post partum depression. I'm pretty convinced my children would rather have me not being able to walk or play than not have me at all! They love your heart...Not your legs or what you can do with them except wrap your arms around them and tell them how much they mean to you. They also need to see you lead by example. How you handle your situations will determine how they handle their difficulties. Go with god and be blessed!
