Hi,

well I wanted to ask your opinion on some things...

First of i'm pritty sure i'm not schizophrenic but since the nature of some of the things I tought i'd best ask it here...

Ow and another thing i'm not an native english speaker so sorry if there are a lot of mistakes in this text!

To start off i'm 21 years old and female. Since about a year or two i've started haveing question about some things. It started by a huge blow out with some friends who told me my behavior at times really was odd. So I looked in a direction and pritty much found quite a lot symptons that matched my situation... I spend some time on a forum with people that really were diagnosed with the problem and found out we did have a lot in common...

A while ago I had to go to the doctor because I felt very tired a lot of the time and well not good in general... I had iron shortage earlier so I guessed that was it. But it turned out I had vitamine b12 shortage.
I walk to the bus stop each morning and before I went to the doctor I heard things and saw things out of the corner of my eye each morning...

I'd always startle once or twice on a short walk of 7 minits...

After the b12 vitamins it went away

but there are other things that always seemed odd to me and weren't related to the vitamins...

Like when I study at my desk I have this bar towel witch is basicly a small rectangle towel with a beer brand on it in front of my keyboard well I always have to turn that around because else if i'm reading at my desk the letters flash all the time...

A while ago I had woke up very odd 3 days in a row...

Seeing things next to my bed for a second and hearing things when I was waking up...

I also see those fake light tubes what are they called in english again tl lamps??? Well I can see them flash when others can't... Can't stand it eigther...

I'm always scared to enter my passwords in school or go to a website because the whole thing is beeing monitored! Really once a guy posted this really stupid message on the message board and in 5 minuts they were there to ask his student number!

Mum always said I was a odd kid, different from the others...

I know this maight not belong here but I had no idea were else to post it and I was curios what people think...

could just be something as small as depression and anxiety both at the same time like I had (only I only see things if I wake up during REM sleep... not while I'm actually walking)

with anxiety and depression it can make you paranoid a bit and stressed which can cause you to distort your perceptions and/or exaggerate things you've seen or heard inside your head.

NOT that what you are experiencing isn't real for you. I believe it is. I've battled the depression and anxiety thing myself, and I've found that it helps to discuss things more with people you trust. I also started taking a b-12 vitamin to help rebuild the surplus of it in my body( because I do have a crappy I'm poor diet because I am broke) and it started helping with things a bit more.

I had more focus and I remembered things better.

Now I also know someone else who experiences symptoms more similar to yours than mine were. including seeing and hearing things that aren't there.

Hers is because she drinks. a lot. and has for years. YEARS.

honestly though I think it sounds like you are probably just stressing out about things and probably need to talk to someone.

Try your mom. Ask her why she thought you were an odd kid. What is it that your friend said was odd behavior?

what I did is I spoke with a shrink for a while. If you are in college (I gather you are from your mentioning you study) you should have easy access to free if not cheap counselors. Try speaking with one of them. Maybe you can gain some more insight from them.

all else fails, a friend could be of good use... even if you can't talk to them all the time. you can write me.
