Getting Pregnant Answer A93
Hormonal disorders can result in cessation of ovulation. “Clomid” (clomifen) stimulates ovulation indirectly by acting on the hypothalamus. In your case, “Clomid” might have helped stimulate ovulation, you conceived, but then miscarried. After your miscarriage, you report that you can no longer conceive. Your gynecologist can help examine whether or not you are ovulating. An ultrasound examination of the ovaries AND hormonal analyses (looking at levels of estrogen, progesterone, FSH, LH, prolactine, and thyroxin) can also be performed.
