Hi,
let me give you my story, maybe it will help you. I had shoulder and neck pain for 2 months this summer. I tried everything! I went to a chiropractor multiple times, I had tons of x-rays, all kinds of blood work multiple times , I had 3 or 4 ekgs, and I even had a very expensive catscan done. I spent a day in the er and the bill was around $4500 (thank god for insurance). The pain was deep inside my shoulder, so I was on naproxene (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever) for a month, and after that ran out I continued to take a lot of anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen, then finally celebrex). And then I developed a lot of anxiety. We're taking a lot of anxiety.... Crying like a baby and wishing I could go to sleep forever just to escape it all.
Guess what the problem was? Myofascial pain! Myofascial pain has to do with the muscles, so it was tiny muscle knots that referred pain to other parts of my body. I found all this out by finally seeing an orthopedic surgeon. But he only suggested that I get more exercise. It wasn't until I did some self-therapy (with a tennis ball against the wall) that the problem went away. I found a good book that helped me find the correct places to work on. It's called something like the myofascial trigger point therapy workbook.
But, regarding the anxiety... I think that was caused by a reaction to all the anti-inflammatory drugs I was taking. Supposedly i'm in the 1-2% category that has that kind of reaction to them. After I stopped them the anxiety totally left (also a christian friend prayed for me at the same time it stopped, so I should mention that :-). Are you on any drugs? If so, research them and see if they are contributing to your panic attacks.
You are not alone in this. Actually, just 2 days ago my anxiety attacks came back and I have no idea why. That's why i'm even reading these boards. It might be an overactive adrenal gland, don't know.
Btw, trust what the doctors say about your heart. If they've done all those tests and then tell you you're ok, then there's nothing wrong with your heart. I bet it's the anxiety that's giving you those sensations. As far as the pain in all those places, who knows but maybe it's myofascial pain. I know that everyone who has had an illness tries to diagnose everyone else with it, so sorry, i'm just giving you my own experience. Go to a bookstore and thumb through that book I mentioned above, it couldn't hurt. And all the advice in the book is free, no medication or anything to buy. Just some advice.

god bless you, and hang in there. You'll get through this and have a happy life even though it doesn't seem like that now.
