Does anyone know anything about this
particular blood disorder. I have it, and
from what I know it is a regional illness
only effecting people of a certain race

Thalassemia is a genetic blood disorder.
A person carring the thalassemia trait can
have mild aneamia to acute aneamia where
he/she may require blood transfusions and
life sustaining treatment.
It is a manageable illness....Just like
diabetes. But one needs to take care of
one's health in order to have a good
quality of life.
