I was diagnosed with epilepsy in nov. Up to that point I was having head twitches every few weeks and suspected it was caffeine. I know that sounds crazy, but true i'm in the coffee business and consume a lot of caffeine. Then on thanksgiving I had a grand mal, thankfully I had got my children to the family gathering safely and there were loved ones by my side.

Two weeks before I discovered I had epilepsy, my neighbors 6 year old son was diagnosed with epilepsy as well.

About a month and a half ago my neighbors,( the same one) dog had a seizure.

Am I crazy or is this way to weird?

We live near a very long line of electrical towers and the plant is in our neighborhood.

We suspect this might have something to do with it.

Do you or anyone you know have this experience?
I don't know what to do now. Any suggestions? When I mention it to doctors, they just brush it off, my neighbor is experiencing this same brush off as well.

There is also what seems to me a high rate of cancer.
Maybe i'm paranoid, that's why I am wondering how many people you know who have epilepsy? Before I was diagnosed I knew no one but my neighbor.

I don't know where to turn for help.

Connection
Angie,

i don't know if the nuclear power plants have a connection, but I can tell you that they have been demonstrated to cause cancer. You seem to know a lot of folks with epilepsy, maybe it's destiny?? Or your area?
