I tried to stop taking laxitives, but the holidays deff ruined that!! I felt bad even being around all the food and stuff. I didn't even eat alot like everyone else, but ate alot of shrimp and still felt horrible....Its getting worse I now feel guilty when I eat healthy food like fruit or veggies even when I workout at the gym twice a day. Its like i'm afraid of food now and if I feel full I turn to laxitives!! I'm scared and feel lost...Family doesnt help much either I felt like a freak during the holidays  if anyone has advice on getting off these laxitives or how to deal I deff could use the help

Hi Sweets
Hey babe how are you going? Your post was a while ago but I thought id reply. Like any addiction laxitive taking is hard to tackle and congrats that you are trying so damn hard. I have binge/purge bulimia so I know what its like to have issues with food and stuff. Try to aim for something like if you usually take laxitives after every meal then try to not take it after something relatively healthy - like fruit or salad or something else you feel comfortable with. Why do you think things have gotten worse? Could it be your eating disorder furthering? I hope you are doing okay sweet xxx

Hey There
Congrad's for trying to beat the habit and try not to discourage yourself if you did not do as well as you hoped you should maybe try to reduce your expectations cause beeting this is really hard and relapse is all part of recovery. Try little by little one meal at a time and not all three in onw day or if you only take them once a day try to reduce it or skip a day but take little steps and try not to do them all at the same time . Believe in yourself and if you haven't already maybe try to seak help from a professionnal or somebody that you trust have allies people that will help you with it
yours trully
