Okay, so I had a ganglion cyst on my left wrist for about 2 years and after a while it started to affect my work so I decided to go to the doctor and get it removed. I got surgery and it went well so the doctor said. Had a splint on my hand for about a week and a half. Now about 4 weeks later I have a lump on my wrist same size if not bigger. The doctor told me that it was scar tissue. He told me just to wait and sooner or later it would go away. I was wondering if any one knew any treatments or exercises I could do to get rid of it faster. Please respond! Thanks!

Something That Helped Me
Hi,

i'm using a skin cream that is helping the ganglion cyst on my left hand. It’s now about less than a quarter of the original size since I started using the cream. I've had the cyst for over a year and it's been the same size (very large) all that time until now. I think the magic ingredient is the cetyl myristoleate (try googling it).

Here is the full ingredient list:

purified water (pimag water), cm complex* (cetyl myristoleate), peg 100 stearate, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, benzyl alcohol, lecithin, tocopheryl acetate, carbomer, potassium hydroxide, menthol, fragrance, magna-cell liposomes.

i have free samples that I can send if you'd like to try it.

Scar Tissue
Hi...It sounds like you have developed a keloid. Check it out on the web. I have had to have surgery 3 times along with radiation to remove a keloid from my face caused by chickenpox when I was 11. I also rec'd monthly steroid shots and finally after all these yrs it has just stopped growing.
Best initial treatment is pressure to the area. Check out that mederma or other scar therapy, if that does not help you may need steroid injections.
They are best treated by dermatologists but make sure he/she is familiar with keloids.
Good luck :d
