I had two large tattoos on my forearms about 23 years ago and I have regretted it for about 22 of those years. For the last 14 years I have never worn short sleeved tops because I am hugely embarassed by my 'jailhouse' appearance. I tried some of those ridiculous creams that are available online and after weeks of application I realised they were probably just cheap exfoliating products with awful smelling moisturiser. About two years ago I visited the Leamington branch of Sk;n where I had a laser test patch. The test went well and I have now undergone 10 laser sessions on each arm. The results are truly spectacular. Colour obliteration varies with blue and red being the most difficult. This will obviously vary with skin and tattoo type. The process is certainly not cheap with each session costing me £140(ish) but I have to say, the financial and physical pain of having it done is well worth it. I now wear short sleeved tops without people staring at my arms. Try it, I am sure you will not be disappointed.

I would not recommend rejuvi treatment to people who are wanting to removal tattoo's larger than 1 inch.

My tattoo is about 4 inches wide by 5 inches long on my upper left arm. It is mainly black with some blue infill and shadowing.

After my first session I was quite pleased, the scab came off after 12 days and the fade was significant. My skin healed very quickly, there was no raised skin or soreness once the scab had come off and there was no scarring.

My second session 12 weeks later was a different story, the scab came off after 5 days, there were 2 scars left behind with no fading at all. I thought maybe this session the dermatologist hadnt gone as deep as the first time and decided to discuss this at the next session.

12 weeks later I attended my 3rd session. I questioned the scab coming off after only 5 days as opposed to the 12 days in the first session, she said she may have applied the cream a little lightly as she was worried about scarring my skin in the second session....I didn't have any scarring after the first session but did have scarring after the second session? Hmmm confused?

Anyways continues with having the rejuvi applied for a 3rd time. Again the scab came off after 5 days? Again no more fading!

By this point I was wondering if the dermatologist was at fault and decided to go get a second opinion from a tattoo artist who also offered the treatment. The minute he saw my tattoo he said to forget rejuvi as it wouldn't work and go for laser, he was unaware that I had already tried rejuvi! He said rejuvi was great if the tattoo to be removed was either amateur or a very small amount of writing ie names or chinese letters etc. He showed me pictures of various rejuvi treatments he had provided as proof of what he was telling me.

I'm now booked into skn clinics on Thursday for a consultation for laser removal, the tattooist believes it will cost me about £1500 to have it removed via laser, I estimate if I'd have continued with rejuvi at a cost of £110 per session the cost would have been triple that.

I have photos of my tattoo pre rejuvi and post each session I'll happily share with anyone who is considering this treatment.

Laser removal
Hi. So I recently got a tattoo (week ago) and I'm already sure I made a mistake. Horrible, I know. But after researching a lot I think that once my tattoo heals I'm going to give laser treatment a go. It seems much safer and is now much more advanced.

With all of the mixed information on Rejuvi, I don't think I'll ever even want to try it. Mine is a black script that goes around my forearm so I'm pretty sure getting it lasered off would be the best solution (considering black is easiest to remove via laser).

I really want my tattoo removed from my wrist, and there is a clinic near me that uses the permenant make up gun for removing it with a cream (probably rejuvi), I have a dove on my inside wrist....it doesn't look like a dove which is why I want it gone. If it fades by 60 - 80% after the first session would a tattoo cover up look better than it would without any removal?

I really want a tattoo there, as I have my sons name above it, and so I want to cover it with a Tiger or a better dove (but its mainly black (with some white) at the moment). I don't want a cover up to look worse, so i'm thinking of getting it removed this way, I couldn't cope with a laser Sad

rejuvi
hi everyone, im currently on my first rejuvi treatment. i had it done 8days ago and my scab is raised and i think it may come off very soon. it was so painful when i got it done, very sore and bled alot. it is really itchy now and finding it hard to shower! i paid 230 pounds as my tattoo is all the way round my upper arm. im praying it will work and will not need many treatments. i got the tattoo when i was 16 and have regretted it for last 5years. least i can talk other people out of making same mistake. if this doesn't work i will try laser, i would love to see peoples pictures and results. fingers crossed!!! Smile

I had a permanent makeup (eyebrows that were very black, uneven and thick) removed with 3 rejuvi treatments and 1 laser treatment. All the treatments were VERY painful. You should start with rejuvi treatments and finish with the laser. Rejuvi will fade the tattoo, the laser will completely help to disappear the ink. I looked like a monster 2 years ago, now I look normal again!

removal of semi permanent make up
Hi am want to have rejuvi removal on my brows too as I hate the semi permanent make up i had there. I am very depressed as they are also thick and very dark. Please could you email me and let me know who did the rejuvi for you, if the hair still grows there and what the skin was like afterwards. I would appreciate any advise and information as I want the semi permanent make up off.

rejuvi tattoo removal
i have had rejuvi tattoo removal (my first session) 8 weeks ago. the first few days it was really sore, throbbing too. you have to wear these special patches to keep the treated areas moist.i was advised to take mine off after the treated areas were sore and itchy. now, 8 weeks later the ink is gone!!1 BUT now i have red raised 'scars' which look just like ive had half my tattoo in red ink and the untreated area, which is blue black. i am really worried now that the skin isnt healing any better and these raised scars..will they ever go? has anyone else had similar problems? i was assured everything would heal nicely..and i believed them! idiot! now, reading through the oxford skin clinics site i can see that theyve worded everything theyve said in such a way that at first anyone would think it is an amazing idea, but after finally realise that theyve screwed me over and i cant even take them to court!!

I had rejuvi 10 years ago, left a scar. A nurse did it. Make sure you see a professional tattoo artist that has a picture portfollio of progressive photos so that you can see it with your own eyeballs. Darn, why didn't I think of that ? !!!!! And dont trust them just because theyre a nurse, doctor etc. EACH TO HIS OWN PROFESSION. Right????Thank God it was small.

BTW- it wasn't a keloid. I forgott to mention that. From what ive read on here she must just not have known how to do it. I guess even tattoo artists that don't know what they are doing can give a scar tattoo as well.I followed all the procedures. Anyways, hope this ends up helping someone Smile

Pure Color Tattoo and Rejuvi
I am a redhead w/ freckles (so I can't tell if I scar, as I have so many spots they usually just camoflauge everything!) and I am thinking about Rejuvi to remove an upper arm tattoo about 5"x6" that is ALL in color - no black - would Rejuvi be good for this?? I hear lasers don't work so well on pure color like mine...

Hi Frenchfancy, I have just read your post saying that you can't have rejuvi if you have had 6 laser sessions. I have had 12 laser treatments (over a 3 year period with my last treatment being over 8 years ago) but unfortunately the laser, despite being extremely expensive and painful, failed to effectively remove my tattoos which are on both my upper arms. I am now left with ''half on, half off'' tattoos which now cause even more unwanted attention as people have no idea what they are. I am so disheartened having to constantly explain myself that I wear tops with sleeves constantly even on the warmest days. I am now considering rejuvi in the hope that it will remove these remnants of tattoos I have been left with but I do not want to set myself up for even more disappointment and being out of pocket again. I would be extremely grateful for any advice/guidance. Thank youx

My son went to Oxford Skin Clinic in Richmond Surrey to have a tattoo removed. Worst thing he ever did - just DONT! It has left him with dreadful scarring and he would have been better off with the Tattoo, it isnt great, but the Hypotrophic scarring he is left with is far worse! We are in dispute with them at present and I think if you have had a bad result from the treatment, please write to them and complain. Believe me the Feedback on these websites only shows good reviews, they will never show bad ones, they cherry pick what they want people to see. We are taking this further, and going for a personal injury claim. We have complained and the company is just being dismissive and unhelpful. Do NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS DREADFUL TREATMENT. Write and complain, see a Doctor get some evidence of the damage, report them to Consumer Direct, go and see a solicitor! DO SOMETHING! Lets stop them permanently scarring anyone else. Spread the word QUICK

I love Rejuvi! I have several pieces I want removed, these are about 10 years old, mostly colours with black outline =o( I had one treatment done on two medium size tattoos. What can I say!! WOW! one of the tattoos, a red Rose, with green leaves, with my daughters name in black, this has faded so much I can hardly see it! The other was a thick black Celtic cross, with a red Rose entwined! (I know it sounds strange now!) but this is now a very pale grey cross, but no sign of the Rose at all! I am very impressed! Now to work on a purple and green wizard, and a ladies face with black hair!!! Fingers crossed I will be in a girlie t shirt next summer!!

I guess your experience depends on what type of rejuvi treatment you received previously and what one you are likely to get the next time. Do NOT allow them to use thee new treatment on your skin. It involves piercing quite deeply into your skin with something resembling a tattoo gun. The early treatment merely involved some cream being gently pushed into the skin and the results of this form of the treatment were not at all traumatic to the skin. The NEW treatment is the one that has caused my Son so much distress, not only to his mood, but to his pocket and more importantly the ugly scarring that has resulted from it. I SAY AGAIN DO NOT DO IT! NEVER!!! You could easily end up with the same dreadful results as my Son. You have been warned!!!!!!

This is all very confusing. I had rejuvi/e-raze 17days ago for the first time, on a 3x3 in tattoo on my shoulder. The scab is almost completely off and the tat is faded to a steel grey from black. There doesnt seem to be any raised areas, but from what someone has posted previously, it could scar if I have subsequent sessions? Its quite an invasive procedure i suppose, and the skin is quite badly compromised, so repeated sessions could cause permanent damage. So do I go back for more?? There are just not enough reports of people actually completing the process successfully, which is making me worried! Everyone loves a happy ending , please post 'em come on people !
