New And Needing Help!
Posted: 01-06-06 10:43am

Hello, im new to the board and need some help. I had my last period on dec 11th and it lasted about 5 days. The day after my period started I began a course of antibiotics (7 day course) I began taking my pill again on the 17th dec. I read that antiobiotics affect how the pill works for around 2 weeks but I did not take any extra precautions during this time. For the past couple of weeks i've been feeling nauseous, had heartburn, am always tired, have a nervous fluttery feeling in my tummy and have a metally/watery taste in my mouth. I have also lost a few pounds in weight and have had headaches. My period is due in the next couple of days but I would value someones opinion as to whether I am pregnant. Thanks x x x

It sounds like pregnancy symptoms to me but it could also be from lack of birth control. Because I was off of it all last month and wasnt careful ... Mistake on my part ... But I felt like that and I didnt end up being pregnant. Alot of it has to do with the hormones in the pill and ur body and what not.

But gl and I hope u get the answer u want
