If your pernicious anemia is under control (by taking Vitamin B12 regularly), it doesn't appear that anemia is causing infertility. You shouldn’t try to become pregnant, however, until your blood exams become normal (and the anemia is under control). If you do become pregnant, you will probably experience difficulties bringing the fetus to term. To identify the reason(s) for your infertility, you may need to take several gynecological examinations: a colposcopy, Pap-smear, vaginal smear, a serology to detect possible STD(s), an ultrasound of the uterus and ovaries, hormonal analyses (FSH, LH, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, prolactin, thyroxin), a HCG, and a laparoscopy will probably together help you and your gynecologist understand what is causing infertility.
