I Think I Need a Hysteretomy Help Posted: 01-06-06 00:55am
I am 21 and have 3 children(6.4.&3mos)
I have had very heavy bleeding and big
clots that have not yet stopped with birth
control or a d&c. (since nov.27th)
I now have anemia. I am having severe
cramps. My husband has rushed me to the
er 2 times in the last months cause I cant
stand.It is to the point my mom has had to
come and stay while my husband is gone.
I was diagnosed with pcos 2yrs ago. I
have a family history of endometriosis and
ovarian cancer. Mom had a hysterectomy
at 28 my cousin at 22 and grandma at 34.
I do now want any more children. So
can I tell my doc I want to have a
hysterectomy. And is it the best thing
for me? Any advice would be very
helpful thanks

An hysteretomy maybe your best option.
You wont be able to have any more children
after though. But you should still feel
the desiare to have sex if your overies
are kept. If they are moved you will be
given hrt. Hope this helps. Let me know
