I am a 15 year old girl, and a few months
ago I noticed a lump under my left breast
(about where the underwire of a bra would
lay). It is not completely soft, but it's
not really hard either. I can move it
around a little bit when I push on it, and
sometimes it is sore. About a month ago I
asked my mom (who is a doctor) about it.
She took a look at it, but she couldn't
really find it, and she just told me it
was breast tissue and it's no big deal.
It seems like the lump has gotten a little
bigger since then though, and I am worried
that my mom just overlooked it and it
might actually be something serious. I'm
really worried about it and don't know
what to do.

Ask her again and persistantly explain to
her the problem, tell her it has gotten
bigger. If it is something harmful, you
need to have it diagnosed. If she won't
listen ask to be taken to another doctor.
