Q: Do I Have Pearly Papules Or Genital Warts??

I recently noticed some bumps on my penis that are formed in orderly, neat rows around the base of the head. Ive only had sex with 2 ppl in my life, and the only other girl was a one time fling about 18-19 months ago. I first noticed a couple white bumps after 10 months of the fling, and went to my dermatologist, who told me it was pearly papules, which commonly occur in uncircumcised men like myself.

But about a week ago I noticed the orderly bumps forming. I did a lil internet research, and it sounded like papules, but I wanted to be sure. There is no itching, bleeding, or dryness. No odor either. I think its only pearly papules, mainly cos I am uncircumcised...But I just wanted somebody to reassure me. Help! And enlighten me here. Thanks!!

Yea, thats what it sounds like to me. You'll be fine. You said you researched it and it 'sounds' like the same thing. Maybe i'm taking you too litteraly but I would recomend you look at pictures on the net, not to make sure its that but so you'd feel better.

As a note hoever: itn't it interesting how they are in fairly straight rows?

I looked at some pics and it looks like i've got pearly papules. It def worried me for awhile there though.

On what you noted - I think the fact that they are in rows is the distinguishing factor, otherwise from my bit of research the bumps would be all over the place. I also think that after 18 months I should be in the clear. But thanks for your reply! Be safe and wear condoms!!!

Update - Worried

Alright, now i'm worried. This past week i've noticed some different bumps near the tip of my penis. They are very, very hard to see too! Even after I realized I had pearly papules, these bumps could very well be genital warts - yuck.

They are fleshy colored and flat. The only way I can see them is with a flashlight and on a certain angle (yea I know, I am paranoid). Here's the thing - I am leaving this saturday for the marines and will be gone for three months. Should I wait all that time, or are they just gonna get even worse??? I don't think I could get in to see a Dr. Who could give me an official diagnosis....Ahh i'm so confused and worried. I would so go to my doc right away, but i'm leaving....

Ok its fine, if they are flesh colored and flat then there pearly penile papuals, thats what I have and I went to the clynic and thats what they told me. So dont worry about them, lol well I am but I shouldnt.
I really want to get rid of them but dont no how, can anyone tell me if they have found a way to get rid of them or even make them smaller.
Ive recently notist that the are starting to spred.Noooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Lol.
