Pcos

I'm 25 and was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries a few years ago. The first thing you need to do is make sure you have a good doctor. Cause lots of them know nothing about this. I finally got pregnant after a long time of trying with the help of clomid but it took quite a while. If you have any ? S email me.

Pcos

Just wondering can you be of any age to get pcos? I have a son 10 years old.. But now I have been ttc for like 7 years and finally am trying to get help from dr but it takes awhile to get in to see them (ob). So I am wondering if you can get pcos now or if it has to have been already from when you are younger..(if that makes sense).. I have quite a few of the symptoms they mention in some of the articles I have read.
Thanks any info would be helpful.

Polisistic Ovaries
Posted: 11-27-03 10:09am

Hi I have been trying to conceive for over three years. After 2 years I was diagnosed with having polisistic ovaries. The doctors tried me on clomid but this did not help. I have had loads of differnet test done and inhave tried tuns of differenet tablets. I am still waiting for the next step to getting pregnanat and wpult urg anyone having problems to speak with a doctor as soon as you feel that there is something wrong. I waited for almost two years to see a doctor and during this time I could have being treated. I am now waiting for iui and will hopefully be getting this sometime next year. I hope that this helps as I could not bare waiting much longer....It really hurts seeingfriend of mine getting and having babies.

Just Diagnosed With Pcos
Posted: 01-05-04 23:46pm

I am 23 years old and have been irregular my whole life. As of february 03 I stopped ovulating and have been diagnosed with pcos and have been trying for 7 mos and many medications to get a period with no luck. I am now going to a fertility specialist in milwaukee and my first appointment. I guess I was just looking for a site with other women who are going through similar problems. I haven't been able to find anyone to talk to and thought maybe i'd find that here......
