Gout And the Things Not to Eat...how to Control Posted: 01-05-06 12:34pm
My fiance was just diagnosed with gout
yesterday. I was wondering about the diet
that is recomended for gout. On the
pamphlet it said no red wine, red meat,
shell fish beer. I've also read not to
eat mushrooms or asparagus. The problem
is everything on that list he loves, like
crawfish, during the first part of the
year we have alot of crawfish boils, we
always look forward to this part of the
year. Anyhow what I am getting at is, do
you have to completley omit the "bad"
things. Is there something you can take
before eating something that will help the
levels of the acid stay down? Are there
any tips and trick you might know. What
is everyones elses diet like and how do
you control the flare ups? I would hate
for him to absolutley give up everything
he loves because of this. Thanks in
advance to all that respond

"a rigid purine restricted diet is of
dubious therapeutic value and can rarely
be sustained for long", so says a gout
expert,. Professor. A. G. Fam.
Besides, there are other things gout
patients can do to help. They are
described in section 2 of http://www.Icuredmygout.Org.
I suggest read all posts in this website.
There are a lot of good info here that
you don't read from pamphlets. Good
luck.

Keep a List Posted: 01-18-06 19:18pm
Think of the pain during attack and keep a
list with those foods likely to cause
flare up in your diet. No escape but obey
as one is under the mercy of gout no
matter the size of a person because pain
and suffering will belittle and restrict
the limbs' movements which completely
under the disease commands. The rule is,
if you are a master of gout one controls
and stay above the disease.
To be a master one needs:
1. Right herb like wild lingzhi and its
formula;
2. Diet and lifestyle change;
3. Ensure one has regular bowel habbit
(take more selective fruits and water).
4. Reversal of gout gradual and effective
as one feels, knows and sees the benefits
with no side effects in lifestyle yet no
drugs but healthy living!
This is possible as I have more than 10
years experience to be elevated in the
understanding, controlling, commanding
gout as a "slave" as there has been no
threat and pain. It is a nuisance to a
"master".
