There is also the nuva ring which is supposed to have lessened side affects than the pill. Ask your doctor about it.

You can alos go to gnc. Which I have. And purchase some sex drive pills. I just went in and asked for something to help me with my sex drive. Don't be shy about it. Just try it out. It works.

Ortho is the worst!!!

I went off of it 2 days ago because I could no longer stand taking a pill to prevent pregnancy when in fact I wasn't even having any sex at all. Not to mention a lot of other problems.

I decided to just go with the no-hormone option = the sponge.

I have been on ortho tri cyclen, nordette, and desogen, and I thought my lack of sex drive was just me - I wanted to have sex but just couldn't get aroused. Since I have switched to the nuvaring three months ago - wow, what a difference! It is so much better.
I recently read an article online that said new research shows bc pills may reduce sex drive. It's nice to know that it wasn't me!

I was on ortho tri-cylen. My sex life was great. I stopped taking them because they were making me sick and I was growing chin hair. I switched to alesse and within the first month, my sex drive went away. I got engaged and my fiance and I almost didn't get married on time because he thought I was cheating on him. We had lots of arguments until I finally thought it over and it was the pills. So, today is the day I stop taking them. I think it just depends upon the person. I guess you just have to do a trial and error with birth control pills. Alesse is the first pill i've been on where i've lost my sex drive.
