Miscarriage Destroyed My Life
Posted: 01-04-06 23:25pm

It was christmas eve and I remember saying to my fiance that the best christmas present would be to find out I was pregnant. Okay maybe I should start from the beginning first. I had two cysts on both of my ovaries and the doctor said I can not get pregnant, so automatically I was upset. But about two years later on this christmas eve 12/24/05 I took a test just to be curious and it turned out I was pregnant, now mind you I was a month or so along and did not know it. My fiance and I were estatic my first child, and no one could tell me nothing to ruin my day. I was already telling the world the news. I could not have been happier. Then about a week later I was spotting, and I thought oh my first pregnancy symptom.............Wrong!!! The worst thing ever a miscarriage. Now I am writing this on the night I found out I just came from the doctors yall and I got right on here to tell someone. I need help my fiance wants to try again but I am just too weak from the loss I dont even think I want to try and get hurt again. Im still crying from the news..........Please I don't know what to do this miscarriage ruined my life, and I dont think I can move on knowing my baby is dead inside of me. Someone please help me!!!!

This doesn't belong in abortion debate so it's moved here where it's more relevant.

I lost a baby too at five months of pregnancy. It was my first pregnancy also and I have no children. Now is your time to grieve. Its perfectly normal. You just went through a devastating experience. You r husband is going through it too in his own way. Please let this be a time for you two to support each other and lean on each other. Dont worry about trying again right now. You medically will probably have to wait until you have two normal periods anyway-thats what I had to do. You may change your mind. You just take all the time you need too. And remember there are alot of us here who have been thru similar situations. We are here for you.
