Ok lets just start with the fact that I
started taking the pill lat august and was
on it for about 8 months before I stopped
taking it. Ever since then I havnt really
had a balanced schedule of periods. I
will go on the same day for about 2 months
straight then I will be about 2 weeks late
some months. A couple months ago I was
about 9 days late and I thought I was
pregnant took a prego test and it came
back negative and about 3 days later I
started. October and november I started
on the 21 and 22 ...But I havnt started
yet. I was should have started on the 22
of dec. Im now like 14 days late. The
last time I had sex was on or around the
15th of dec. Im not having any symptoms
of pregnancy like stomach pains or breat
tenderness....But im just extremely
worried. I was gonna wait a few more
weeks to take a test. I read up a little
on it and it said that if you miss 2
periods you are more then likely pregnant.
The 21 of this month would be my second
period. If anyone has any ideas please
reply back to me. I know a test is the
best answer but I just wanna know if this
sounds normal or abnormal. Thanks alot

Were your periods regular before birth
control? Also if you are going to wait
to take a test, I would start to take
folic acid just to be safe. It will not
hurt you if you are not prego. My best
friend had no signs of pregnancy for 2 1/2
months. Everyone is different and ever
pregnancy is different. Do you want to
be pregnant? Let me know how it turns

I had the same problem I just went off
birth control ... Now im back on it thank
goodness ... But my period was just under
2 weks late so id say if u dont get ur
period by jan 28th call ur dr for a blood
test. Thats what my midwife suggested to
me. I know its a long time to wait but
the more u worry the longer itll take to
get ur period. But as amy said ... Some
ppl dont show signs of ever being pregnant
and some do right away and taking the
folic acid is a great idea just in case.

yea I didnt know I was pregnant so
therefore I didnt take frolic acid until
the 2nd month. But id do a preg test
about 28th also

I would just wait until the 21 ...(your
next period) and see what happens ...Then
if no period I would see the doctor
...Maybe you need to switch bc's ...That
don't seem normal for it to make your
period like that...But good luck...

Thank yall so much for your concerns and
questions. And to answer the first
persons question...No my periods were
never normal before birth control....They
never were normal until I got on birth
control and now that ive been off I have
gone anywhere from 32-38 days from one
period to the next.....But im working on
45 days from my last period this time. I
wasnt trying to get pregnant no...Just a
very immature act I had taken. We just
got ingaged in september and pregnancy
wasnt what we were trying for.....If I am
I will be happy with it..Im totally againt
abortion and what not...But if I am not
ill be even more happy. I was on folic
acid when I was on birth control but I had
stopped taking them when I got offa birth
control. Thanks so much to everyone who

Well keep us updated...Good luck to you,
but this is what I would do. I would by a
hpt that has 2 test in it. I would take
one now and then take the second one after
the next period is due to confirm the
positive or the negative..
