Q: Ortho Lo Users - Question About End of Cycle Pills

Hi!

I am using orthotrycyclin lo for the first time and am nearing the end of my first pack.

I am a sunday starter, and started taking the first white pill on the sunday following the first day of my period.

My question is: when I start taking the pills from the center of the pack (the ones during which i'm supposed to get my period) do I take all of them and then start the next pack, or do I start taking the white pills in the next pack on the sunday following my period and throw away the unused pills in the center of the pack?

Thanks!!

Hi. Just take your pill every day according to what day it says on your pack, and you shouldn't have any left over. When you finish your blue pills, start immediately on the green ones (placebos) and you'll probably get your period 2-3 days after starting the placebos. Since you're a sunday starter, you'll take your last placebo on the saturday after your period and then you'll start your new pack on sunday. So you'll always start your new pack on a sunday :)
