Ok this may be a bit long so forgive me. On june 16th I had the most painful sore throat of my life. I remember the date because my work was doing inventory and I worked 14 hours. The next day I went to urgent care and got antibiotics. Didn't help. Ended up going to urgent care 3 more times and getting different anitbiotics. No help again.

During this time I should mention I was getting night sweats along with the sore throat. I was refered to an ent he said I needed my tonsils out. Had them taken out and I still have my sore throat and its been about 3 months since then. Next he ran a camera down my throat and said I had some small amount of reflux and gave me prilosec. For about 3 days my throat was feeling great I could talk a lot and only get a little hoarse unlike now where I almost lose my voice. However now the sore throats back and i'm not even half way through my prilosec. It seems the more I talk to worse it gets I also have had an extremely dry mouth with this since the begining. I drink plenty of water, don't smoke, don't drink.

I'm sched to see a different ent later this month but i'm running out of ideas. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.
