Q: Has Anyone Been Pregnant But Still Had a Period?

I have all of the symptoms of pregnancy but I had a period that didn't seem any different from any other one. I researched it a bit and found some information about women that don't know that they are pregnant because they continue to bleed every month. I was wondering if any of you have had this experience. I am going to take a test if the symptoms don't subside. Thanks. :)

I am on the same boat as you. I am on ortho tri cyclen lo, but I was taking antibiotics. I forgot about it making the birth birth control less effective. I started to spot 3 days after sex, and it never let up until I was 4 days into the sugar pills. I never had to use anything but a panty liner and it would last all day long. I took a test 3 days before my expected period, which came out neg. After that I never really worried about until yesterday I got nausea. I am on proamatine, which help my body regulate my blood pressure. My doctor told me not to take it if I am trying to get pregnant as they do not know the side effects in humans. My symptoms include: nausea, tired, heavy but not to painful boobs, constipation to diarrhea, losing weight, but lower belly is bloated and hard. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My husband and I would be thrilled if I was, but we wanted to wait 1 more year until our daughter is 3.

Hi im in the same boat! I had a period oct 30 and my boyfriend and I did are thing nov 10.... Then nov 18 I was throwing up because of different smells.. I then had my period nov 23-26 and the whole week after my period ive still had a slight cramp and sore nipple, gagging off of different smells, cant eat foods I used to eat because I start gagging, sleeping alot, eating all the time and if I dont eat I get sick, and a whole lot of other symptoms and under my navel there are pains that are off and on. I took the test and it cam out negative. Then when I when to the Dr. They gave me 1 and it came out negative.. My dr said I have all the symptoms and that maybe my hgc level is not high. So now I got a blood test done and hopefully something good comes out of it or something wrong with me.

I know someone who went for 8 months with a period, and she thought she was putting on weight and felt tired all time but didnt know she was pregnant, she was always abit big, so the bump wasnt as noticable anyway... When she went to doctors they told her she was 8 months pregnant. And she still continued to get a period in her last month... So yes it is possible.

See my related post: http://ehealthforum.Com/health/topic78297. Html

i think the best thing for you to do would be to get a blood test done to check for pregnancy. If that is negative, then I would say that you are not pregnant.
