ok, my girlfriend and i have recently just
started having sex about 2 1/2 months ago.
we used a condoms EVERY time, and they
never fell off or broke. at the beginning
of her following cycle, she started on
orthotri cyclen. over the past two months
her periods have been extremely strange.
they would be either very early and last a
while, or late and be short. on top of
that, it wasnt blood, but a sort of brown
discharge. what does this mean?? she is
afraid to find out if shes pregnant, and
really stubborn, which is why im coming
here. is this normal, is it cause of the
contrceptive, or do i have something to
worry about??? any help would be
great!

Your girlfriend's irregular cycles and
menstruations might be caused by her
contraceptive pills; she can visit a
gynecologist for help to monitor the pills
and for possible changes in dosage,
prescription, brand, etc. To be sure that
you have not conceived, you or she can buy
pregnancy test strips from your local
pharmacy.
