Hi, i'm new to this site. I've been on alesse for about 2 years and my skin has never been that great on it. I though of switching to yasmin for the skin issue but I am affraid of the switch. Has anyone else switched from alesse to yasmin? And will my skin maybe get worse at first? I'm really horrified so any help would be great.

I have actually heard a lot of good things about yasmin regarding the skin looking clearer, and many women use ortho tri cyclen/ortho tri cyclen lo too.
There is nothing dangerous about switching pills, and if you are interested in trying another pill, go for it!

Have your switched pills? Just curious...Bc I am scared of the side effects with switching. I know everyone's body is different. I just can't take these ups and downs with my skin.

I cannot use hormones. But many women switch pills. Women tend to like pills that help their skin out.

I was taking ortho tri cyclen and I switched to ortho lo. Then after about a year I decided to try seasonale, and I took that for 3 months. Then I decided to try the patch because I didn't want to have to remember to take a pill every day, but I didn't really like it. I didn't have bad side effects, it just drove me crazy having something stuck to my body. So I decided to switch back to ortho lo because I took it for a long time with no problems, and that's what i'm on now. I'm very indecisive :) but I never had a problem with any of the transitions.

Were you prone to acne in the first place? I know I have so many questions but I don't want to gain weight, or break out bad...
