Q: When Would I Get My Period On Ortho Lo?

Hi.

I just got the prescription for ortho lo from my doctor. She said I should start it on the first sunday of my period, or whatever other day is convenient.

My question is -- how does getting one's period correlate with what day she started the pack of pills? That is, if I start pills on a sunday, will I get my period on a sunday? I'd rather have my 5 days of bleeding during the work/school week so that when i'm out with friends or travelling on saturday/sunday I don't have to worry!

Answers appreciated...Thanks!!

Actually, when you start your placebo pills it takes a few days for your body to bleed, it has to register the drop in hormones first.. So if your placebos start on sunday, it could be tuesday by the time you actualy bleed.
