How Much Water For Proper Hydration Posted: 01-14-06 15:00pm
This is a very good question. Unless one
is on a very controlled program then too
much is not a good thing of course. From
what I have read an extra quart over all
other drinks, even via sips throught the
day, is a general precaution and can make
differences both in the long and short
term. About pure water. A study was done
with all the waters on the market and tap
water. Ny city tap water came out on top.
I spoil myself with a more expensive
water, good for babies and found at health
food stores. But general tap water - you
can call the local water board for purity
verification - is just fine, free and
convenient. Secondly, "the salt of life"
is no wive's tale. 1/4 teaspoon unrefined
sea salt per quart/litre. You can
sprinkle it on salads and eggs, etc. You
can find it at health food stores in fine
granulated form just like table salt.
Keep a small drinking flask or bottle
nearby the whole day like the savvy youth
do. Www.Watercure.Com.
I'm with you, whatever.

I have heard that gatorade is also good as
it helps with the electrolytes(sp) and
de-hydration.
Good luck!
