If your next period is on 1/10/2006 then
your ovulation probably occured around
27.12 2005. Conception occurs a few hours
after ovulation. Pregnancy-tests detect
the hCG-hormone produced by the embryo. An
embryo develops when the fertilized
cell-egg embeds itself in to the wall of
the uterus. This embedding occurs 8-10
days after conception, in your case
between the 5th or the 6th of January. All
pregnancy tests made before the 5-6th of
January 2006 will be negative, even if
you have conceived. So you don’t need to
wait until 1/10/06 to confirm, but you
WILL have to wait until 1/6/06 before you
administer a pregnancy test.
