:( hello guys,

i have been having a problem for about 5 years now..With no help really from my doctors.First thing is I was told I had cervical cancer when I was 7 months prego with my last child of 4 and after she was born had it removed ect.. Well they said they didn't want to do the hystorectomy because I was so younge(21) .. Okay well then came the major weight gain.. And i'm talking 60 pounds in a year.. Along with going for months with no period...This went on for about 3 years till I got sick of this and went back to doctor after not having my period for almost a year.They started to do tests and said I had a bulky uterus and said my ovaries where slightly bigger then normal.. But said I suffer from pms lmao..Yea pms .. Okay which brings me to date.. For the last year I go months inbetween periods and when I do get it..(like now) I have been bleading since end of novemer and we are one day away from jan.. And I have had big clots coming out.. It feels like i'm giving birth and for real have to push them out.. There is no way i'm preg cause I had tubal done after the cancer cause they said it was risky for me to have anymore.. More question is.. Should I get second appimnion about the whole pms thing .. And just how big is the "normal" clotting...And if anyone else is having these simptoms please I would love to talk.... A little info about me is:

28 years old
4 kids (11,10,8,7)
iregular periods for over a year
with heavy clotting ( about the size of a small piecse of liver)(and after pushing it out blood gushes out)

Your Not Alone

I also have clotting and my doctors have no clue why. Lately they have been very big and I can feel them move...Often I have to push them out too. Mine are also the same size as yours. It concerms me that this many come out each period...I was told I have endometriosis. I dont know if this is why I have the clotting or not. I would love to find a cure for this. The pain before each clot comes out is very annoying and sometimes causes me to double over. I often have to curl up in a ball just to feel relief. Does anyone know if theese clots are normal? What is causing such huge things to come out of me? Lol :oops:

Extremely eHealthy

The body's natural defense against heavy bleeding is to form the clots. So your body's must think your bleeding is more heavy than normal, and it is trying to stop the bleeding. That's why the first girl says gush of blood follows the clots

When to Worry?

I understand why the clots form but when do you worry? I had them so big I could barely walk. I am already anemic and have been so weak I can barely do anything from all the blood I am loosing.

My doctor said not to worry unless I am still having them after 3 days. I feel something more is wrong when you can not leave home cause you have to run to the bathroom every hour to pass a huge clot.

I don't think having them this size is common. They are about as big as the circle part of a aluminum can if not bigger at times. I am sorry thats gross but I dont know how else to explain them. They hurt when they are being formed and when they come out...Its really gross and makes me feel like my insides are being ripped out! Anyone with any other information please let me know.

No, I dont think very large clots are something to be ignored. That just means your body believes the bleeding is even more worse than normal.

I would go see another .Dr or go to the .Er if you are that weak, and especially if you are anemic already.

That is just my opinion--i am not a .Dr.
