Hello, I never get replys on here!!
Ive been feeling sick, so so so tired, hungry but not feeling like eating all the time. Ive been to the docters but I didnt tell them I could be pregnant cos I was scared. They done 3 blood tests, two before my period was due. The last one was for anemia, I rang up for the results and they said I need an appointment! Is it possible they picked up pregnancy on the test? Im about 2-3 weeks late for my period and have been having unprotected sex for the past 3 months. Please some one shed some light on my situo. Thanks

Hi,

i'm not sure if they can pick up pregnancy on a test looking for anaemia. What were the other tests looking for? And did they say the other two tests were normal?

Sometimes they do a test anyway checking for pregnancy, even if you don't tell them you could be pregnant. Have you taken a pregnancy test yet?

Why do you not want the doctors to know that you might be pregnant?

It might just be that you are suffering from iron defificency anaemia - I have anaemia at the moment - it always gives me feelings of nausea, tiredness, and dizzyness etc.

Let us know how you get on.

Take care.

It's a good idea to let the doctor know you might be pregnant, in case he wants to prescribe a medicine for you that could be harmful to a fetus.
