Q: Can I get pregnant while on birth control ?

Well ive been taking birth control for about 2 months now and I take them everyday its just I dont take them the same time everyday. I havent every missed a day. Is there a possiblity that I can get pregnant? Because I dont use any backup protection(condoms) because it is very painful

Hi:) regular combination birth control pills are not as sensitive as the mini pill, so you have some leeway. It is highly reccomended that you take your pill within about a 2 hour time frame everyday, but on occasion up to 6 hours late will not compromise your protection. The 6 hr rule is only an every once in a while thing, and should not be done regularly due to the constant fluctuation of hormone sthat may result. For best results try and take it within a few hours.
