Depressed Dont Know What to Do... Posted: 12-31-05 01:10am
Im feeling depressed now, but I get more
depressed when I cant help pple around me
who I love who are depressed too, really
dont know what to do. Do I have to get
myself away from depression first and then
I should think about helping others im
confused. Just wish everyone can be
happy.

Hi,
i suffer from depression alot, and also
have friends that have depression. If I
find that other peoples problems are
pulling me down too much then I do limit
myself to how much time I spend with them.
However, I do not leave them all together
and I am very thankful to my friends that
have stuck by me, even when they have been
depressed - it as helped me loads. But at
the same time, when they disapear, I
understand their feelings that they just
want to get away from everyone and isolate
themselves too.
I think it is really hard helping others
who are depressed, because it's more of a
long term illness.
How are you trying to help your
depression? Are you on medication or
recieving any therapy?

Hi,
i was on cipralex, but I decided to come
off it about two weeks ago. I've been
taking a dose every few days.
