Hello everyone...

Any advice would be appreciated. About a week ago I got a pimple on my cheek. Since I rarely get acne, I didn't think much of it at the time. A day later, it burst when I was rinsing my face. The pressure was relieved and there was some puss and blood.

Well a week has passed, and this pimple is still here. It doesn't hurt. It's perfectly round shaped, a little red. I've tried some acne creams, but absolutely no change.

Any ideas of what this could be, or any recommendations? I'll be getting health insurance from my new employer within a few weeks; so i'm hesitant to visit a doctor until then for fear that this will become classified a "pre-existing" condition.
