Crying or Very sad Shocked alright, im 17 yrs old and ive been on bc for two years. Everyonce in a while I miss a day and I take two the next and so on. Ive never really had an off period. Well the other week I missed 4 days so I took them all at once. Yeah I know that prolly wasnt the smartest thing in the world. Well its been a week since my period left, and now im having the brown spotting constantly. I havent had sex in over a month, and when I do have sex I use protection, and the last few times I cant even do it for 5 min or so and my partner cant even get there because the latex hurts me down there. Im also having bad migraines and been vomiting and stomach pains. I need help! Im scared!

Hi turshe,

since your body is relying on the pill to regulate your period, your period is most likely going to be very irregular for a little while now. You may need to take a pregnancy test just to make sure you are not actually pregnant, and continue taking your birth control pills. Keeping in mind you will need to be a little careful for the first couple of weeks taking them, as you won't be fully protected.

Many women are allergic to latex on condoms, so it is not unusual to find condoms uncomfortable.

As for the migraines, stomach pain and vomiting, that could be caused by many things, including the fact that you are worrying so much about your situation and I would imagine taking a whole month worth of bc pills would be enough to make you feel unwell.

Have you been to see your doc ? Maybe you could ask for some help in getting a pregnancy test, and also getting yourself back on track with your birth control.

Good luck.

You probably have headaches and nausea because you missed 4 days of the pill and then took 4 at once! Don't do that! The most you can take together is 2. If you miss more than that you are suppose to quit taking them and then start a new pack after your period. The spotting is probably breakthrough bleeding from taking 4 pills. Be careful. If you cannot remember to take a pill, go on the patch or depo.

Good News!
Praise the lord the nausea vomiting and other problems are gone. Im still spotting a little and my normal period should be starting by wednesday. Im feeling better knowing that the nausea was probably from being dumb with my birth control and not morning sickness, i've also lost a few lbs, prolly from getting sick so much... Well thanks for the tips!!!
