Sad Crying or Very sad Embarassed I have had fever ranging from 99.0 to 102.5 for seven days now. I just started on cephalexin yesterday. How long should I keep having this fever before I go to the hospital for iv antibiotics? I think I am dying some days. I have a 10 month old and a 2 yr old and it's about to take me down!!!! Help help help!!!

I assume you're the mother - a father would have been in bed on day 1 - is there any one you can get to help care for the kids & fathers are perfectly capable they just do everything they can to give the opposite impression (to be fair not all but alot) you need plenty of fluids, bed rest!!!!!!!!!! Cool baths, panadol/disprin/asprin (depending on what it's called there) hourly to bring the fever down & if need be go to the hospital if that's the only way you can get the rest & help you need.
