Fell 1 Year Ago, Knee Still Acutely Painful And Weak Posted: 12-29-05 02:21am
:x I am a 34 yr old f. I have bcdh (
bil. Con. Hip dysplasia). I had been
out of the hospital from thr 6 weeks nwb,
when just I fell over in my home.
Instant severe pain in l knee. Felt like
someone twisted and pulled on my l leg as
I fell. Same leg I just had operated on,
which has 4 cables, 3 screws, strut graft
and long-stem rod, with osteotomy.
(could I have twisted it where the
osteotomy was, therefore twisting the
knee? I was standing on r leg when I
tipped over, landed on my back facing
opposite direction. Even with all the
hip pain i've had since I was 2, i'd never
felt anything like this. I went &
had xrays done asap. Nothing. Mri,
about 4 months later... Nothing. More
xrays... Natta. Therapy just made it
worse. I have been through everything I
know on the net, in books, through doctors
and friends. To this day (1 yr on dec.
12) I still cannot put trusted weight on
it. It gives out on me without the
bledsoe brace,but I don't like wearing it
all the time due to more possible
weakening. Needless to say my l hip is
as floppy as a cooked noodle, due to not
getting it rehabed properly. Doing
ultrasound & e-stim. In pt this time
round, but doesn't seem to be helping. I
need sugestions on what to do or not to
do...I went through near 5 yrs of research
to find a doctor to "fix" my hips, then I
go & do this. I am at my wits end...
& that isn't good when I already
suffer from double-depression!! Any
takers?? :?:

i know of a product on the market that may
help very much with your condition. It
is a very powerful cox 2 inhibitor and has
no side effects because it is 100% fruit
